Help by Donating Items

Group with boxes

Thank you for helping survivors by donating to Fort Bend Women's Center ThriftWise Stores.

Donations of clothing, furniture and household goods that are safe and in good condition are greatly appreciated. We value your donations as the proceeds of the items sold help support programs and provide goods for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Fabric items that are not in condition to be resold are recycled, so everything you donate goes to good use.

You may drop your donation off at any of our store locations or Schedule a Pickup.

How to Prepare Your Donations:

  • Fabric covered furniture should be clean and odor free without obvious rips or tears.

  • Loose items should be boxed or bagged to minimize breakage.

  • Due to insurance liability, our drivers cannot move items from upper floors; items must be on the first floor unless your building has an elevator.

We greatly appreciate your help and please note that there are certain types of items we do not accept. Some items may be subject to the manager on duty or driver’s discretion as to whether they can accept them in the stores or meet the needs of our clients. Please review the list below. Thank you for your understanding.
